Teng Villarente handed me his Nikon D-80 (with bounce light and batt-pack) with orders to "shoot" at will. I did beginning at the food table, then to the individual tables where everybody savored the sumptuous meals paid for by a generous classmate who wanted that every classmate gets a free dinner for Christmas. Likewise, Ben Castro who is in Sydney Oz sent lechon-in-a-bilao thru Jun Oasay.
The fun and fellowship was highlighted by the presence of new attendees or those who came for the first time in any of our gatherings. They are, in alphabetical order: Barbara Gamundoy, Danny Cua, Dory delos Santos, Fe Sagun, Fely Santos, Leila Yatco, Margarito Botin, Marta Coloma, Patricia Martin, Rosita Anuran and Wilma Bonifacio [who claimed that she saw the announcement in our website.] Am I forgetting somebody? Please remind me in an email. A group then huddled around Wally Esguerra in looking at the faded pages of the original souvenir graduation program “Ang Moog” [reminds me of the song, “faded photographs, souvenirs of days together…] and looking intensely at her 1966 class picture, Pamela Bautista exclaimed, “ay, sergeant-at-arms pala ako nung 4th year!” which made everybody laugh. Hector, Tony B, Tomas, even Teng cracked their old time “gags” that added to the fun and laughter. Focus of attention were Fely Santos and Fe Sagun who admitted that they are single, and attracted some bees buzzing around. Another very pretty lady who kept quiet in an end table was Rosita Anuran. Also present were the espouses who have become regular attendees in our gatherings, namely,

Myrna Malsi, Zeny Cayanan and Mrs. Roger Duff. Hector's wife, Lulu, was also present.
Of course we played games, adult games. Myrna Malsi had an easy time pushing and tracing the calamansi fruit into the pants of Romeo Matuba, (hmmm, expert ha?) Dory delos Santos was graceful and energetic in the ballroom dance. Likewise, Thelma displayed her graceful dancing. In the midst of the fun, Zeny and Tes announced that “we have a record attendance tonight for our Christmas party.”
Tony Baranda's best efforts [greatly] helped make our AHS Class '66 Christmas party a success. He made press releases of our Christmas party one day before on December 12 in several tabloids and broadsheets, plus broadcasts on radio. The enthusiasm of Teng Villarente to see and rub elbows with our classmates fired up this event since his attendance in our regular monthly meetings in October and November [which he complemented with dinners]. See our classmates as they were captured "live" [in alphabetical order] with Teng's dSLR. /dannyr
