My dear friends,

It is pretty heartwarming to find friends such as all of you to make an old friend feel so welcome even after 42 years. This definitely is an encouragement for me not to wait too long to come home.

Zen, thanks for making time to see and even make plans to take me out even as your plate is full. Hope everything with the rest of your family is now under control - no more emergency hospital visits ;-). Sorry that my dentist appointments kept me from seeing the rest of your family and Marlot and the trip to Tagaytay - maybe next time?

EddB, thanks for the trip to see GloP and the one day trip to memory lane - I really enjoyed it.

Tony, thanks for the treat at the "oldie's place" ;-) Sorry I couldn't stay for coffee after the treat at 'Dampa'. It is a small world - didn't realize you knew my sister's better half and that you made his day when you talked to him on the phone even though it has been hard to understand his speech after the strokes. Thanks for sharing your family photos too.

Rudy, Thelma, Ding, Susan and Tes, thanks for the rides as it have been difficult for me to navigate Manila after being gone for so long.

Danny, thanks for taking photos on my camera and documenting the great time I had with all of you.

Girme, thanks for the phone call. I tried calling you back the next day but somehow couldn't connect. Anyway, maybe next time.

Susan, Ding, Noni, Bebay, Jun, Dolly, Abel, Nestor (and your wife, Zeny), Josie, Teng, Felix, Zen, Tony, EddB, Danny, Rudy, Thelma (hope I'm not forgetting anyone else) - seeing you at the old turf (AHS) and the sumptuous treat at the Dampa and the oldies music/band, and the trip to Baras to see Glo .... you guys really know how to welcome an old friend. Thanks to all of you for making my visit so memorable.

Take care,
Sylvia
