| .. but she has not changed. She is the same Sylvia Casanova we knew from our high-school days, humble and still very friendly as she used to be. Rudy Evaristo and I fetched Sylvia from her sister's residence in Malate and proceeded to the SM Mall of Asia where we had a short walk. Later we assembled at the resto bar where the band played the music of yesteryears, to everybody's delight. Among the well-wishers were Zeny I DG, Tes DL Castañeda, Antonino and Carmelita C. Pascual, Ding and Susan Mayor, Felix Malsi, Tony Baranda, Thelma Amis, Abel and Boots Santos, Jun Oh, Nestor and Zeny Cayanan and Dolly Abel Rona. |

...A week later Sylvia attended our regular monthly meeting at the AHS campus where she witnessed the giving of allowances to our new batch of scholars. Then, too, a dinner followed at the sea-foods market along the bay. On October 16 she visited Gloria Pascasio with Zeny and Ed B. in Baras, Rizal. |
